3x3 League | basketball in Spodek
3x3 League will come to the Spodek hall in Katowice!
On February 20, the qualifying and final tournament of the Women's 3x3 League will be played at the Spodek side hall in Katowice! After a day off, on February 22, it will be time for the second qualifying tournament of the Men's 3x3 League with the participation of ORLEN Basket League teams. A day later, on February 23, the finals of the competition!
The first qualifying tournaments, which were played in September in Sosnowiec, are behind us. The men's tournament was won by AMW Arka Gdynia, which defeated KK Wloclawek 17:13 in the final. MKS LOTTO 3x3 Dabrowa Gornicza and Legia LOTTO 3x3 Warsaw also advanced to the final tournament. In the women's tournament, Team Poland U23, KS Basket 25 Bydgoszcz, SKK Polonia Warsaw and MB Zagłębie Sosnowiec advanced.

Thursday
The second qualifying tournament of the Women's 3x3 League is scheduled for Thursday, February 20, with eight teams that failed to advance in September's competition. They will be divided into two groups from which the two best teams from each group will advance to the next stage of the competition. The final tournament of the Women's 3x3 League will be played on the same day, Thursday afternoon. The winner will be determined through the knockout phase (quarterfinals, semifinals, final).
SATURDAY & SUNDAY
February 22nd, in the side hall of the Katowice Spodek, another emotions - on that day, 12 ORLEN Basket League teams will take part in the 2nd qualifying tournament for the 3x3 League. The four best teams will advance to the final tournament, which will take place a day later.
3x3 basketball is played on a special surface measuring 15x11 meters. There are two three-person teams on the floor, which can use an additional reserve. Unlike traditional basketball, in 3x3 basketball one or two points are scored, while in 5x5 two and three points are scored. Each action can last a maximum of 12 seconds. The game ends when one team scores 21 points or the 10-minute time limit expires.
