Spodek itself is a part of the history of Polish volleyball and its greatest victories, and I myself have a special fondness for it, remembering my own sometimes very dramatic matches played there - said the President of the Polish Volleyball Federation Sebastian Świderski.

The tournament will be played in Katowice and Gliwice (a match in the Katowice Spodek and two more in the Arena in Gliwice) , and the partners of the event are the Marshal's Office of the Silesian Voivodeship and the Upper Silesian Metropolis.
